Raspberry Pi 4 Home Automation Server with IOTStack

So you bought this raspberry Pi and now  you wonder what you could do with it ? Hey,  why not use it as a home automation server ?  Today we install IOTstack on a Raspberry Pi 4  which is a collection of famous home automation  software products such as Home Assistant,  Openhab , Node-Red or Home bridge.  But on  top of this it has a menu driven installer  where you can chose from many other tools  such as TasmoAdmin, Motion Eye, Mosquito MQTT,  Grafana or even Plax and Next cloud. Why just  need one if you could have it all ? Stay tuned. Rather than building everything from scratch  we can use the existing iotstack project. The project has been hosted by Graham Garner from  South Africa. It was inspired by you tuber Andreas  Spies – the guy with the Swiss accent.  You can  find his channel in my featured channels list  and also I have put a link to his  first video about IOTstack up here....

build a home lab server with proxmox

What is a home lab server ? Does it really need  to be a big, loud 19 inch rack beast that eats  electricity for breakfast? I don’t think so. I  recently bought this little PC here second hand  on e-Bay for roughly 200 bucks. It’s got an Intel  i5 processor with 4 cores, it’s small and silent.   I upgraded the RAM to 16 Gbytes and I added a  Terabyte SSD drive. Now let’s install a software   called Proxmox on it that provides virtualization  in Vms ( so virtual machines ) or Linux containers   as well as many other Enterprise scale  features such as software defined storage,   replication, backup, thin storage provisioning  as well as high availability. Stay tuned. Please use the chapter markers and the  time line if you want to skip parts of  the videos. You can see the sections here  on the timeline ? Those are the chapters.  I have also put them into the description. In the last v...

Hi everyone,  The iPhone 11 Pro Max and s20 ultra 5g are both great phones in different ways but in this video I’m going to compare both of them and I’ll talk about everything from the price to the displays to the cameras and much more and if you want to jump to any specific point in this video just check the description for the time codes below now the first thing is the price the iPhone 11 pro max starts at 1099 with 64 gigabytes of storage and goes up to 1400 and $49 with 512 gigabytes of storage there’s also 256 gigabytes of album with the s20 ultra 5g it starts at one thousand three hundred and ninety nine dollars and goes up to one thousand five hundred and ninety nine ninety nine with 128 or 512 gigabyte options but also offers expandable storage through the SIM card slot and if we pop out the SIM card tray here I’ll show you can pop in a micro SD card up to a one terabyte of storage in the micro SD card.  So you have a ton of storage options for the s20 ultra now as f...

iOS 14.4 release, AirPods and more, iPhone 13, iPhone SE Plus, Foldable iPhones

Hi everyone, This  past week has been filled especially today with  a lot of interesting news and so the first thing  is iphone 12 pro max and iphone 12 have this  millimeter wave antenna on the side but a lot of  countries don’t get that in fact this is sort of  exclusive to the united states right now however  apple supposedly ordered a bunch of new millimeter  wave components as well as sort of securing  a new supplier to provide those components  so that means that they’ll either come a little  bit later in iphone 12 pro or 12 pro max models  or may come into play when the iphone 13  comes out so we may be seeing those later  on but either way.  That’s good it means it’s  coming to more countries for those of you that have the 5g millimeter wave availability in your  area now according to Ming chin quo the iphone se  plus is still in the works so the iphone  se plus is said to be sort of t...
