The Nexus interrupt the main event and reap destruction

Love how the NXT Season 1 rookies all said the WWE haven’t seen the last of them during their eliminations then showed up to cause havoc. This might’ve been ten years ago, but they’re still my favorite pro wrestling ( not just WWE ) faction. All eight of them .  I remember being so scared about how the wwe superstars were gonna survive to The Nexus, even when at that point I wont to "hate" John Cena due to his invincible role within the company, I used to be very concerned by that beat down. Today I'm almost 24 and now I just watch wwe very very casually if I'm passing by the channels on the TV .. I even miss John Cena, it ain't an equivalent

All of Sting’s WWE appearances

WWE history changed forever at Survivor Series 2014 when the person Called Sting made his long-awaited WWE debut. Relive The Stinger ’s epic team-up with John Cena and his showdowns with Triple H, Seth Rollins and more. Sting was in his mid 50s when he first appeared in WWE. Still put an excellent match at 'mania and wrestled sort of a guy 20 years his junior. Respect.

The summer of The Nexus

I wish my favorite wwe superstar wade barrett was still wrestling by the way who y’all think would win nexus or retribution and did y’all love when Barrett would do the wasteland or the bull hammer because I liked when he would do the wasteland. I can remember the day when nexus debut on raw, I was so confused on what was going on but was excited to see what else was gonna happen every week on raw.

John Cena vs. Seth Rollins – Tables Match: WWE TLC 2014

The rivalry between John Cena and Seth Rollins adds a replacement chapter once they compete during a Tables Match at WWE TLC 2014: Courtesy of WWE Network. As a heel Seth Rollins really was at his best because the authority guy,' The Mr Money within the Bank' or the longer term of WWE gimmick was great to observe. Sometimes He got cheered quite faces and it says tons. Dude was at his best at the time.

Brand NEW IBM PC AT + Model M! Unboxing & Setup

Greetings and welcome to an LGR thing. And look what I’ve got today...Cardboard boxes! More specifically, IBM cardboard boxes, as you might be able to tell from the little logos here and there. And what’s inside there? Well... It’s something super cool and something I’ve always dreamed of doing, and that is getting a vintage IBM computer, a PC 5170 AT, in this case... and opening it! Setting it up! And— and powering it on for the first time... since it left the factory decades ago. And so I actually was able to find this...from a guy on eBay who apparently has access to a warehouse of these things. It just looks amazing! What I would give to walk through there and see a sight like that just...holy crap. But yeah, I bought one, and here it is. It’s all right here. This one in particular was made in 1988 We’re gonna open it up and set this thing up in a moment. But just in case you’re not familiar with these machines, it’s a 286 machine running at 8 MHz. This one has 512K of RAM. I think...

Building a Bigger, Badder MIDI Mountain

Greetings! And welcome to an LGR Thing returning to the mountain top, the MIDI Mountain that we put together, I don’t know, is it was like a year or two ago or something. Oh good grief, 2017 was four years ago. So anyway, I guess it’s been a while, but you know, I still use it every so often. Maybe not in its full form, but there’s a reason for that. And that’s because it’s a MIDI mountain! It’s just a stack of MIDI devices that aren’t really connected except via cables, and anytime that I would like to use it. I have to bring the whole setup out or parts of it out. And normally that’s what I ended up doing, if I’m honest.  I just bring one or two components out as needed, and then it’s not a MIDI mountain anymore, it’s just a regular old MIDI set setup for retro computers. And the thing with these devices here, most of them anyway, everything but the MT-32, is that they are all 1U half rack devices, which means that they fit horizontally. So that got me thinking, Why don’t I jus...

The AdLib Gold Experience

Greetings folks, and today on LGR I am proud to present the fabled AdLib Gold 1000 Stereo Sound Adapter. An IBM PC-compatible sound card which, after multiple delays, launched at a suggested price of $299 in the US sometime in late 1992. More or less, its release is a bit complicated but we’ll get to that. For now lemme just go ahead and say how much I’m freak in’ out with excitement recording this footage. Cuz dude, seeing an AdLib Gold in person, still in the box, unused? Among retro PC enthusiasts, that’s like finding a golden unicorn that craps diamonds, it’s just not a thing. Yet here it is, looking’ spiffy! And it’s all thanks to Trixter, aka Jim Leonard of The Old-school PC, Check out his YouTube channel if you’re into this kind of thing too, the man’s a fountain of knowledge and some of the items in his collection are literally one of a kind. Not the least of which being this pristine AdLib Gold 1000, a card that I’ve been wondering about ever since I was eight years old lookin...

LGR Oddware - Tattooing CD-Rs with Yamaha Disc

Greetings, and welcome to LGR Odd ware, that is odd, forgotten, and obsolete, like this thing here, the Yamaha Disc system, or rather the drive that allowed it to happen in the early 2000s. And yeah it’s kind of just a CD-RW, but its whole gimmick was the fact that you could burn, or ink, tattoos directly onto your CD-R media, not the label side, the data side.  Let’s check it out. All right, so let’s take a closer look at the Yamaha CRW-F1, or more precisely the external SCSI version known as the F1SX. Yamaha made multiple models, external and internal, many of which cost less than this one, but they all had the Disclaser labeling system built in. Draw images on your discs. Mm. And this model cost a whopping $279.99 . Internal versions cost less, but on average they were all more expensive than the other CD-RW options when it released on July 15th, 2002. As if I really needed to say 2002, though. I mean, just take one look at that  sign in the name there and, yeah, 2002 indee...
