Arnold Schwarzenegger 2018 - The speech that broke the internet

I want to construct a match like iron man so I can leap thru the air. Rn I'm 19, I do Aerospace Engineering, but I realize I can do more that is why I'm Trina examine coding and robotics. I realize it sounds it impossible and maybe someday I'll understand how dumb this remark was to make. But it is the inducement that's making me push forward via lifestyles. I've already slacked off for my 1st 12 months. I'll come again to this remark after I make it.

Work your ass off there may be no magic pill. It drives me loopy to visit the fitness center. If you examine one hour an afternoon went and labored out 5 hours an afternoon, and I became running on production We have 24 hours an afternoon, arrange your day, paintings difficult.

I’m right here to speak about success I went to college I went and labored out 5 hours a day and I was running on production Because in those days in bodybuilding, there has been no money I didn’t have the cash for food dietary supplements or anything. So I needed to go to paintings. So I worked in construction I went to university I labored out inside the gymnasium and at night time from eight o’clock at night time to 12 middle of the night I went to acting class 4 times a week I did all that There was no longer one single minute that I wasted.

Arnold Schwarzenegger 2018 - The speech that broke the internet
And this is why I’m standing right here today At the age of 20 I went to London and I won the Mr. Universe contest because the youngest Mr. Universe ever and it turned into due to the fact I had a purpose If you don’t have a vision of wherein you cross And in case you don’t have a intention wherein you pass, you drift around and also you never end up everywhere seventy four% of the human beings hate their process in America.

The majority of humans don’t like what they’re doing Because they may be absolutely not doing it because they didn’t have a goal and observed this purpose they’re simply aimlessly float round and then there’s a task starting so they get their activity due to the fact you need to paintings But then while you work it’s a chore Its work It’s no longer a laugh So if you consider most effective a quarter of the human beings truly revel in what they’re doing in life So people constantly inquire from me When they noticed me in the gym within the pumping iron days, they are saying why is it which you’re running out so difficult?

And I told humans all of the time because to me I am taking pictures for a aim In front of me is the Mr. Universe identify So each rep that I do gets me closer to accomplishing the goal to make this purpose, this vision turn into truth Every single set that I do Every repetition each weight that I lift will get me a step towards turning this goal into reality So I couldn’t wait to do some other 500 pound squat.

I couldn’t wait to do any other 500 pound bench-press I couldn’t wait to do any other 2,000 reps of take a seat-ups. I couldn’t await the following exercise So permit me inform you some thing visualizing your aim and going after it makes it amusing You got to have a cause irrespective of what you do in lifestyles. You got to have the purpose Mohammed Ali.
Arnold Schwarzenegger 2018 - The speech that broke the internet
Worked his butt off And I noticed it firsthand Now recollect that there was a sports activities author That changed into there inside the fitness center, and he was running out he was doing setups And asked him what number of sit-U.S. Do you do?

And he said I don’t begin counting till it hurts Now consider that, he doesn’t begin counting his setups and he feels ache That’s while he begins counting That is running hard And so you can’t get across the hard paintings, it doesn’t remember who it's miles Work your ass off. There isn't any magic pill There is not any magic accessible You can't get round you need to paintings and paintings and work You have this make sure of that during order stuff. So its paintings And it drives me loopy when human beings say that I don’t have enough time To visit the gymnasium.

For 45 mins an afternoon and workout Or to do some thing for 45 minutes to an hour a day to enhance if it is physically improve or if it's miles mentally to improve Imagine you study one hour a day. About records How tons you may research after 365 hours... In three hundred and sixty five days Think about if you look at approximately the records of musicians of composers how an awful lot you would recognize?

Imagine if you'll work at the enterprise and some commercial enterprise that you want to expand each day for an hour imagine how similarly along you will go and get So it drives me nuts because when people say they don’t have the time. We have 24 hours a day We sleep six hours a day. So that gives you continue to 18 hours There’s someone shaking the top out here in front to mention in all likelihood I don’t sleep 6 hours. I sleep 8 hours, right?

Or simply sleep faster. So we've 18 hours an afternoon. The average individual works around 8 to 10 hours So, permit’s anticipate its 10 hours so we've got 8 hours left then you tour round an hour a day Maybe two hours an afternoon. So now you have still six hours left.

Maybe eat a little bit. Maybe schmooze a little bit Talk a touch bit to people and all that stuff, but you may see how much time is available in case you arrange your day So to procure the work tough I hate Plan B I tell you why Because we've got such a lot of doubters as I’ve stated in advance the no Sayers We have so lots of the ones folks who say no, you couldn’t do it, that’s not possible.

That is ok because we simply turn off as I said in advance and bees Listen and be hear that no being a sure. You can’t do it do it. You can do it and all that So that this is viable to do that amongst all the terrible human beings around you but whilst you begin doubting yourself.

That’s very risky due to the fact now what you’re basically saying is that if my plan doesn’t work I even have a fallback plan. I even have a plan B And which means that you begin thinking about Plan B and every thought that you put into Plan B you’re doing away with now that notion and that electricity from plan a And it’s very critical. To apprehend that we feature better If there's no safety net because Plan B will become a safety internet.

It says that if I fail Then a fall and I get picked up and I have something else there meaning they will defend me.  And that’s not suitable due to the fact people perform better whilst there’s no safety internet People perform better in sports activities and the whole lot else in case you don’t have a plan B I’m telling you I’ve in no way ever had a plan B I.
Arnold Schwarzenegger 2018 - The speech that broke the internet
I made a full commitment that I’m gonna be a bodybuilding champion. I made a full dedication that I’m gonna be in America I made a complete commitment that I’m gonna get in the show commercial enterprise And I’m going to be a main man. No remember what it takes. I will do the paintings. I will do the paintings over and over and over, until I get it The same as in politics and the whole lot like that. So to me, it is very risky to have a plan B because you’re slicing your self off from the hazard of actually succeeding and the purpose one of the foremost reasons why people need to have a plan B is Because they may be concerned approximately failing What is that if I fail then I don’t have anything else Well, permit me tell you some thing.

Don’t be scared of failing Because there’s nothing incorrect with failing You need to fail in an effort to climb that ladder There’s no one that doesn’t fail Michael Jordan stated in one in all his interviews When they said you’re unbelievable the finest basketball player of all times I suggest tell me approximately that.

And then he stated Well, you just cited the successes But he says for me to become the best basketball player I overlooked nine thousand shots When I became playing basketball in the NBA video games So during this games that he become so a success he missed 9 thousand shots Does it make him a failure? No, he's one of the greatest basketball gamers are 4 times, however he failed 9,000 instances. Do you get it?

We all fail. It’s okay. What isn't ok is whilst you fail you live down Whoever stays down is a loser And winners will fail and get up fail and arise, fail and arise, you constantly arise that could be a winner That is a winner I failed in bodybuilding. I lost bodybuilding competitions I misplaced powerlifting competitions and misplaced weightlifting competitions I had movies that went inside the bathroom that were horrible. It got the worst evaluations And in politics, I don't forget I had a number of the initiatives and the ballot And we lost My approval rating in California went down to twenty-eight% and Then it went back up once more and I gained once more the governorship.

Hey, all of us lose. If you all have lost as that is k, and this is why I say don’t Be concerned approximately dropping because whilst you’re terrified of losing you then get frozen You get stiff you’re now not comfortable. You got to be with a view to carry out Well in something if it’s in boxing or if it's far in your process or along with your wondering Is best going on whilst you relax So relax, it’s ok to fail Let’s just go all out and give it everything that you got. That’s what it's far all about. So don’t be afraid to fail.

Apple Keyboard Evolution 1983-2015

I don’t have a Lisa Keyboard, and they’re quite rare and expensive. But here’s what it looked like, it was quite large and clunky. Although not really any wider than a modern Apple keyboard . So, this is the original Macintosh keyboard. It’s kind of tall, and notice that it has no arrow keys, no function keys and no number pad. Apparently, Steve Jobs believed that everybody would use the mouse for everything, except typing. It uses an RJ-11 type connector, similar to a phone cord. The mouse actually had its own separate connector, and did not connect to the keyboard at all. This is about as basic as it gets. I can plug my telephone into it, for some reason. So, one thing I noticed about this is that there are no indicators on where to put your fingers. I’ve never heard a keyboard echo before. It’s not real springy or anything. It does have… …metallic kind of noise to it. But, DAVID: This is the Apple Desktop Bus keyboard. As the name suggests, this was the first keyboard to use the new

The AdLib Gold Experience

Greetings folks, and today on LGR I am proud to present the fabled AdLib Gold 1000 Stereo Sound Adapter. An IBM PC-compatible sound card which, after multiple delays, launched at a suggested price of $299 in the US sometime in late 1992. More or less, its release is a bit complicated but we’ll get to that. For now lemme just go ahead and say how much I’m freak in’ out with excitement recording this footage. Cuz dude, seeing an AdLib Gold in person, still in the box, unused? Among retro PC enthusiasts, that’s like finding a golden unicorn that craps diamonds, it’s just not a thing. Yet here it is, looking’ spiffy! And it’s all thanks to Trixter, aka Jim Leonard of The Old-school PC, Check out his YouTube channel if you’re into this kind of thing too, the man’s a fountain of knowledge and some of the items in his collection are literally one of a kind. Not the least of which being this pristine AdLib Gold 1000, a card that I’ve been wondering about ever since I was eight years old lookin

IBM 8516 Touchscreen CRT Monitor

Greetings and welcome to LGR Oddware where were taking a look at hardware and software that is odd, forgotten, and obsolete! And today it is the IBM 8516 CRT touchscreen from the beginning of the 1990s. And yeah you can touch and draw and do all kinds of things that you would normally do with a mouse or light pen or whatever else -- just with your fingers! And so let’s see what this thing is and what it can do. All right so this is the IBM PS/2 Model 8516 13-inch CRT touchscreen monitor first introduced in June of 1991 for a suggested retail price of $1695 US dollars, holy crap. That would be almost $3,100 at the time of this recording, not a cheap price for a 13-inch VGA monitor back then.  It was built by IBM to be compatible with PCs running DOS, Windows 3 -- and IBM OS/2 of course, because they were still pushing it rather hard when this came out. And as advanced and awesome as it was for its time it was not the first of its kind as far as touchscreen CRTs, not by a long shot.  For

The best gaming laptop for MS-DOS games

The other day, I used to be reading this old Computes Gazette magazine from 1983. and that I saw this card you'll send off for more information. happen if I filled it out and sent it off? Well, stick around till the top and I'll show you the result. Most of the time, stepping into Retro Gaming are often quite challenge. Even the old Atari 2600 her, for instance, it are often very challenging to seek out a contemporary TV or monitor that you simply. On the brilliant side, the games are pretty easy to affect. All you've got to try to to is locate them online, or thrift shop, or whatever and you purchase the sport, and you recognize, But, things get even harder once you start watching old computers. For instance, the Commodore 64 uses a disk format that's essentially foreign today.  It's no means to attach to the web, and albeit you've got a pile of blank disks, getting the games copied over to them from the web could be a nightmare. Now, if you fast forward just a

Strangest Computer Designs of the '80s

OMG Mr. LGR!!! You made my day showing the Seiko computer watch series. I collect these things and Have almost  the entire lineup up including the weird UC-2200. The only one I'm missing is the "wrist mac" which was essentially a Seiko RC4400 but marketed and sold for Apple. It could be considered the first apple watch! That design for the Elwro-800 actually seems pretty good and I wish I had it for the C64 back in the day. That wire holder could have been used for holding a computer magazine with a user made program which they always had in the magazines back in the day. Even now it would be good for data input from a written copy, or even writers who like to get their pre-writing done on paper. They were the machines we were taught Turing language on -- and compiling even a tiny Turing program on them was unbelievably slow.  I really liked the GUI on them though, but we never really used the GUI much; all the programming we did was in a text file run through a compiler

The Advantech I.Q. Unlimited with BASIC and a Z80 CPU.

Hello, and welcome back to the 8-Bit Guy. In this episode, I want to show you this bizarre little computer known as the IQ Unlimited by Advantech. Now, you might be wondering “What is this company Advantech?” Well, if you turn the computer over you’ll see it was actually produced by Video Technology Electronics, otherwise known as V-Tech.” Yes, that’s the same V-Tech that has produced tons of cordless telephones, kids learning computers, baby monitors, and a variety of other things. They are also the ones that built the Laser 128, which was an Apple II clone, along with the matching Laser XT which was a PC clone. They also produced the laser line of portable computers, and even a series of proprietary desktop computers that carried the laser brand name. So, needless to say V-Tech is no stranger to making computers. But, I think this may be the strangest one they ever made. The front of the box claims it to be complete, powerful, simple, and affordable. They are also those that built th

Words of Krom Ngoy

Words of Kram Ngoy This Brahma song is translated to tell Khmer men and women To be mindful should be diligent. Do not be lazy, do not be too stupid, try to learn numbers, learn the alphabet Learn all the virtues, supernatural wisdom combined with ideas. Fast roaming OpenWrt Wi-Fi Access points

Before we start let me do a test. I have my  phone here which measures my Wi-Fi speed and  another phone which I use as a camera in  the other hand. I start on the 2nd floor  where I have an access point. As you can see speed  is quite OK. It won’t go much higher because I  capped it. I’ll explain in a second. Let me start  moving towards the staircase to the 1st floor.  As I do that you can see that the speed goes  down while I walk down the stairs until it starts  moving back up because I picked up the signal  from the 2nd access point here on the first floor.  Let me keep moving down to the basement. It’s  all concrete here so Wi-Fi gets weakened a lot.   But it doesn’t take long until I  get closer to the 3rd access point  here in the basement and speed picks up.  Walking back upstairs - same scenario.  How do I do that so seamlessly without  interruption of signal ? Is it a  Mesh ? Is it magic ? Stay tuned. So many people promote Wi-Fi mesh these days. And  if you observe this the

Will Kill Your Computer

Hey guys, this is Austin, and this is the USB Killer. Now, it might not look like much, however this will straight up kill your computer. So, this is a device that’s used to test hardware, so while it looks like an ordinary USB device, instead, there’s a series of capacitors inside. So, if you plug it into a computer, it will charge those capacitors up, and once they’re full it turns around and releases all of that power at 240 volts straight back into the computer, in theory killing it. It doesn’t take much to be able to pop this thing open. Now, before we proceed: Do not try this at home. Seriously. Not only is it very possible for this thing to kill electronics, but it’s also. And by being careful, I mean don’t try this at home. We have an Asus Chrome book.  Now, USB Killer claims that this is going to work on around 95 percent of computers, and the reason for that is that while some computers have properly capped USB ports, most have completely unprotected ports, which means that i
