Samsung GalaxyTab S7+ review

Hello. I am Tab ART.

There was an online unpack event of Samsung yesterday. Five new Samsung products were unveiled at this unpack event. Really a completed Galaxy Tab, it has not been an exaggeration. The product will be officially launched in early September. I had a good chance to rent a Galaxy Tab S7 Plus product from Samsung and try it out in advance. So, I tested how the GalaxyTab S7 has changed and improved. As a reference, I will tell you this Galaxy Tab s7 is really fantastic tablet!

So let me introduce the GalaxyTab S7 first. The Galaxy Tab s7 is Samsung’s flagship tablet with a significantly improved design and performance compared to its predecessor, the s6. It’s a bit more straightforward and feels solid. You can choose from three colors:

Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, and Mystic Bronze. It is equipped with the latest powerful AP,  QUALCOMM’s Snapdragon 865 Plus. The main 1300 megapixel camera on the back, the ultra-wide-angle lens of 500 megapixels, and the 800 megapixel camera on the front. The biometric security system supports  face recognition and fingerprint recognition. On the 11-inch and 12.4-inch big screen, it shows a 120Hz refresh rate that is smoother and faster. The s Pen has been changed to a stable design with improved grip, and there have been significant changes such as a significant improvement in pen latency.

It is also worth noting that the screen splitting function, which allows free and vertical composition, and can display a total of three apps on one screen at the same time, is seamless. The Galaxy Tab s7 Plus has a standard capacity of 256 gigabytes and 8 gigabytes of RAM. The capacity can be expanded up to 1TB with micro SD card. It is equipped with a 45w ultra-fast charging module that is suitable for a large capacity battery of 10,090mah,  allowing very fast charging.

The software aspects such as the upgraded note application. That’s the Galaxy Tab S7. The color of the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus I borrowed is Mystic Silver. Looking at the design, it is 28.5 cm x 18.5 cm long and weighs 575 g.

Samsung GalaxyTab S7+ review

The thickness is 5.7mm, so it looks very slim. Overall, it shows a straightforward and simple design, and the finished product is very satisfactory. The Samsung logo, which was always located in the middle, was placed horizontally at the top. The glossy logo on the soft back of the matte metal gives it a very luxurious feel. Here, the AKG logo is also placed horizontally, giving the top logo and unity. You can see the dual camera and flash on the back, and you can see that the s pen attachment location is divided along the camera line. is separated by the material difference in S7. If you put the s-pen here, the magnetism is quite strong, but this flat part of the s-pen should touch  and the pen tip should face up. Also, this time, the magnetism on the side of the device is stronger.

Even if you shake like this, it will not fall. Perhaps Samsung has taken care of users who are uncomfortable with putting the S Pen behind. You can see the quad speaker at the bottom of the top. At the bottom, you can see the c-type port supporting 45w ultra-fast charging. On the side you can see the Bixby or power button and volume button and below sim and micro SD card tray. On the opposite side, you can see the connecting pin for connecting the keyboard cover.

On the front, you can see the screen design rounded with a very thin bezel and software. The camera has been moved from the horizontal mode to the top, and the IL luminance sensor is mounted here and two to improve the malfunction.

You can see that the size of the device is quite large, like a 12.4 inch large screen. Compared to Galaxy Tab s6, it shows this difference. You can see that the screen is big enough to feel, but the device doesn’t feel too big and the weight is not burdensome compared to the large screen.

If you look at the s pen, you can see that the design is similar to the s pen of the Galaxy Tab s6 lite, which was released a few months ago. Compared to the s6s s-pen, the length is slightly longer and the overall round shape improves grip.

The air command button has also been  reduced in size to reduce malfunction. The attachment part of the device is designed flat, so it doesn’t roll easily, and it feels like the Samsung logo balances the design. The book cover brought the structure of the popular Galaxy Tab s6 lite. It is a magnetic type attachment method, and the screen turns on naturally when the cover is opened. The pen is stored inside, so there is no risk of loss, and you can stand at two angles. Even if you use the cover flat by turning the cover backward or laying it down like this for drawing, it is okay because it has a strong magnetic property.

The pen attachment part on the back side is not a protruding form like the previous one, but a hole is drilled, so I personally like it. The first 120hz refresh rate for the changed feature. Here you can see the refresh rate options by clicking on Smooth Motion and Switch Screen in Settings-Display. The refresh rate is smooth enough to make you feel happier. If you compare the two options, this is a really big difference. Changed functionality The second surprisingly improved latency of the S Pen. There was a lot of rumors involved, so this was the part I was really looking forward to. The conclusion was a really amazing development.

Samsung GalaxyTab S7+ review

Let’s take a look at the difference between the two devices. Let’s test the standard Samsung Note and Note Shelf. It’s a pretty big difference, right?

If you actually use it, you will feel a lot faster. Thirdly, Samsung Note, the basic application we knew, has been upgraded quite a bit. Reorganization of ui and convenience of management function for each folder have been updated,

and a PDF document import function that does not break even when enlarged has been added. Also, it is possible to manage by page, so you can write by inserting a PDF in the middle while writing in this way and adding pages in between. The voice recording function was also enhanced during writing.

When you take a note while recording a voice and play a voice recorded later, the page written in the recording section plays as a video. The voice recordings here are also broken down into lists, which you can easily find. In addition, the note management function has been enhanced, nso you can create folders like this, put multiple notes into the folder at once, and manage them more easily and conveniently. Searching through text recognition is also accurate, and above all, the S Pens latency has been greatly improved. If you look here, a folder called Galaxy Pick is added, and note shelf, canvas, and clip studio are installed in it, so you can see that it is the main productivity application of the Galaxy Tab S7. w...wait. Clip Studio?

Please give me some music. Clip Studio Paint. It is a clip studio that occupies an unrivaled  position in the field of digital cartoons, which is well known to everyone who draws pictures. It was first released in 2012, the best existing Wacom pen pressure technology, with a natural brush like drawing on paper. There are also numerous brushes that can be customized. Concept art, character drawing, manga, animation, etc. can draw a wide  variety of styles that exceed the limits in all fields. It supports ai coloring, vector-based brush, guide tool, free material, text input,  powerful cloud function that can be shared across PC and tablet. I also heard rumors and it was a program I was so curious about, so I should study Clip Studio properly. Clip Studio review and drawing content will be covered in detail after the official release of the Galaxy Tab S7 and the app.

Now that we have a quick understanding of the Galaxy Tab s7, lets quickly analyze the drawing performance. Perhaps there is a difference in accepting the refresh rate of 120hz and the latency of the s pen for each drawing application.

Let’s compare and analyze the comfort and S-pen latency performance according to the screen size for each of the five drawing applications I recommend. The first is my favorite art flow studio. It is an application that is highly optimized  and has a simple and intuitive ui. When using the Galaxy Tab s6, it showed very fast reaction speed and good performance.

First of all, the screen of the S7 looks bigger, so it looks better. If you compare S6 and S7 together, you can see that the area of the canvas is this big. The speed difference between the brushes looks similar, but let’s compare them in slow motion. You can see that it follows very smoothly and quickly at 120hz. GalaxyTab S7 prevails in all respects. Infinite Painter is an application that has very good performance and quality, but has been unused for optimization reasons.

But I used it today and it really improved!

Samsung GalaxyTab S7+ review
Let’s find out whether it is due to S7 or application update The Infinite Painter makes ui so intuitive  and neat that you can focus on drawing. Also, the feeling of the brush was the most realistic application. If you look like this, you can see that S Pen latency is really very fast. Let’s compare it with s6 to see if the application is improved or not due to the performance of s7. I brought the frozen artwork that I drew with the Galaxy Tab s6. When I drew this picture, the resolution was quite large with 4480x2800, and I used more than 20 layers, so there was a slight stutter in the Galaxy Tab s6, and I remember that the forced termination was frequent. The S7 is really soft and fast. The app itself seems to have improved a lot, but it seems that the refresh rate of 120hz is great. The latency between the two devices  shows this difference. Ibis paint.

There is a lot of difference in performance between the two devices. S7 is so good!
The screen area is very comfortable to see. You can see that the difference between the refresh rate MediBang Paint, my favorite application like Art Flow. As with other applications, the screen grows larger and feels more comfortable. So when comparing latencies, there is no difference. I will be satisfied only with the bigger screen. Autodesk Sketchbook. Among the applications I recommend, it is the only application that can use all the features for free. Optimization is good. Again, the comfort of the big screen is felt right away, and the latency is so fast that it doesn’t show any noticeable difference from the s6, If you are new to tablet drawing, it is recommended that you download this program
for free and learn the digital drawing and the feeling of using tablet pc.

After all, the comfort of the screen size and the feel of the brush are really good. If you compare the latency of the five drawing applications of the Galaxy Tab s7, this is it. Also, lets analyze KRITA, which I recently  recommended and created a tutorial for. Once the screen grew, it was noticeable  that the canvas space was much wider. The latency of the S Pen is also faster, and the ui utilization is higher due to the larger screen. If you compare like this, you can see much more information in the toolbox. Surely, Krita seems to give you the best experience using the Galaxy Tab s7 Plus.

Then, in order to test your drawing experience, Ill finish the video with the drawing I’m drawing. Today’s drawing model depicts the Avanos Thanos in the sense of being a powerful Android tablet. I will draw the picture with Art Flow.  So far, we have learned about the Galaxy Tab s7. I don’t think I need a long word. I really like it.  There is a little bit of concern. It’s a fever symptom on the device. When I did several tasks, I felt like I had a  little more fever than the Galaxy Tab s6. When working with a high-end game or drawing application, it may be necessary to check how much heat is generated.

I feel that Samsung is really paying attention to the tablet. 120hz refresh rate, 12.4 inch large screen, faster S Pen latency, upgraded Samsung Note, and Clip Studio release!
In the future, I thought that my channel would become more busy with content production. Samsungs newest flagship tablet, which has become so well suited as a tablet as a drawing device. GalaxyTab S7 Plus!
I hope it will be released soon. Please refer to the video text for a link to the detailed specifications of the device.
Thank you for watching so far.

The AdLib Gold Experience

Greetings folks, and today on LGR I am proud to present the fabled AdLib Gold 1000 Stereo Sound Adapter. An IBM PC-compatible sound card which, after multiple delays, launched at a suggested price of $299 in the US sometime in late 1992. More or less, its release is a bit complicated but we’ll get to that. For now lemme just go ahead and say how much I’m freak in’ out with excitement recording this footage. Cuz dude, seeing an AdLib Gold in person, still in the box, unused? Among retro PC enthusiasts, that’s like finding a golden unicorn that craps diamonds, it’s just not a thing. Yet here it is, looking’ spiffy! And it’s all thanks to Trixter, aka Jim Leonard of The Old-school PC, Check out his YouTube channel if you’re into this kind of thing too, the man’s a fountain of knowledge and some of the items in his collection are literally one of a kind. Not the least of which being this pristine AdLib Gold 1000, a card that I’ve been wondering about ever since I was eight years old lookin...

Apple Keyboard Evolution 1983-2015

I don’t have a Lisa Keyboard, and they’re quite rare and expensive. But here’s what it looked like, it was quite large and clunky. Although not really any wider than a modern Apple keyboard . So, this is the original Macintosh keyboard. It’s kind of tall, and notice that it has no arrow keys, no function keys and no number pad. Apparently, Steve Jobs believed that everybody would use the mouse for everything, except typing. It uses an RJ-11 type connector, similar to a phone cord. The mouse actually had its own separate connector, and did not connect to the keyboard at all. This is about as basic as it gets. I can plug my telephone into it, for some reason. So, one thing I noticed about this is that there are no indicators on where to put your fingers. I’ve never heard a keyboard echo before. It’s not real springy or anything. It does have… …metallic kind of noise to it. But, DAVID: This is the Apple Desktop Bus keyboard. As the name suggests, this was the first keyboard to use the new...

IBM 8516 Touchscreen CRT Monitor

Greetings and welcome to LGR Oddware where were taking a look at hardware and software that is odd, forgotten, and obsolete! And today it is the IBM 8516 CRT touchscreen from the beginning of the 1990s. And yeah you can touch and draw and do all kinds of things that you would normally do with a mouse or light pen or whatever else -- just with your fingers! And so let’s see what this thing is and what it can do. All right so this is the IBM PS/2 Model 8516 13-inch CRT touchscreen monitor first introduced in June of 1991 for a suggested retail price of $1695 US dollars, holy crap. That would be almost $3,100 at the time of this recording, not a cheap price for a 13-inch VGA monitor back then.  It was built by IBM to be compatible with PCs running DOS, Windows 3 -- and IBM OS/2 of course, because they were still pushing it rather hard when this came out. And as advanced and awesome as it was for its time it was not the first of its kind as far as touchscreen CRTs, not by a long shot....

The best gaming laptop for MS-DOS games

The other day, I used to be reading this old Computes Gazette magazine from 1983. and that I saw this card you'll send off for more information. happen if I filled it out and sent it off? Well, stick around till the top and I'll show you the result. Most of the time, stepping into Retro Gaming are often quite challenge. Even the old Atari 2600 her, for instance, it are often very challenging to seek out a contemporary TV or monitor that you simply. On the brilliant side, the games are pretty easy to affect. All you've got to try to to is locate them online, or thrift shop, or whatever and you purchase the sport, and you recognize, But, things get even harder once you start watching old computers. For instance, the Commodore 64 uses a disk format that's essentially foreign today.  It's no means to attach to the web, and albeit you've got a pile of blank disks, getting the games copied over to them from the web could be a nightmare. Now, if you fast forward just a...

Strangest Computer Designs of the '80s

OMG Mr. LGR!!! You made my day showing the Seiko computer watch series. I collect these things and Have almost  the entire lineup up including the weird UC-2200. The only one I'm missing is the "wrist mac" which was essentially a Seiko RC4400 but marketed and sold for Apple. It could be considered the first apple watch! That design for the Elwro-800 actually seems pretty good and I wish I had it for the C64 back in the day. That wire holder could have been used for holding a computer magazine with a user made program which they always had in the magazines back in the day. Even now it would be good for data input from a written copy, or even writers who like to get their pre-writing done on paper. They were the machines we were taught Turing language on -- and compiling even a tiny Turing program on them was unbelievably slow.  I really liked the GUI on them though, but we never really used the GUI much; all the programming we did was in a text file run through a compiler ...

The Advantech I.Q. Unlimited with BASIC and a Z80 CPU.

Hello, and welcome back to the 8-Bit Guy. In this episode, I want to show you this bizarre little computer known as the IQ Unlimited by Advantech. Now, you might be wondering “What is this company Advantech?” Well, if you turn the computer over you’ll see it was actually produced by Video Technology Electronics, otherwise known as V-Tech.” Yes, that’s the same V-Tech that has produced tons of cordless telephones, kids learning computers, baby monitors, and a variety of other things. They are also the ones that built the Laser 128, which was an Apple II clone, along with the matching Laser XT which was a PC clone. They also produced the laser line of portable computers, and even a series of proprietary desktop computers that carried the laser brand name. So, needless to say V-Tech is no stranger to making computers. But, I think this may be the strangest one they ever made. The front of the box claims it to be complete, powerful, simple, and affordable. They are also those that built th...

Words of Krom Ngoy

Words of Kram Ngoy This Brahma song is translated to tell Khmer men and women To be mindful should be diligent. Fast roaming OpenWrt Wi-Fi Access points

Before we start let me do a test. I have my  phone here which measures my Wi-Fi speed and  another phone which I use as a camera in  the other hand. I start on the 2nd floor  where I have an access point. As you can see speed  is quite OK. It won’t go much higher because I  capped it. I’ll explain in a second. Let me start  moving towards the staircase to the 1st floor.  As I do that you can see that the speed goes  down while I walk down the stairs until it starts  moving back up because I picked up the signal  from the 2nd access point here on the first floor.  Let me keep moving down to the basement. It’s  all concrete here so Wi-Fi gets weakened a lot.   But it doesn’t take long until I  get closer to the 3rd access point  here in the basement and speed picks up.  Walking back upstairs - same scenario.  How do I do that so seamlessly without  interruption of signal ? Is it a  Mes...

Will Kill Your Computer

Hey guys, this is Austin, and this is the USB Killer. Now, it might not look like much, however this will straight up kill your computer. So, this is a device that’s used to test hardware, so while it looks like an ordinary USB device, instead, there’s a series of capacitors inside. So, if you plug it into a computer, it will charge those capacitors up, and once they’re full it turns around and releases all of that power at 240 volts straight back into the computer, in theory killing it. It doesn’t take much to be able to pop this thing open. Now, before we proceed: Do not try this at home. Seriously. Not only is it very possible for this thing to kill electronics, but it’s also. And by being careful, I mean don’t try this at home. We have an Asus Chrome book.  Now, USB Killer claims that this is going to work on around 95 percent of computers, and the reason for that is that while some computers have properly capped USB ports, most have completely unprotected ports, which means th...
