I was talking to my trainer the other day we were working out in my backyard and he was wearing my towel man and I sat down on the wall and I said man I’m struggling today this is hard my trainer is a younger guy he said what do you mean I said man this workout is hard he said no man this is hard he said how you came from a poor kid in the projects to this house you got in this neighborhood and the TV star he said that’s hard and I had to catch myself because working out aren’t near as hard as the struggle to get where you want everybody in this room wants two things everybody wants to be successful and everybody want to be happy I’m going to tell you something about that that that happiness and success is available for every last one of you but I’m going to tell you what you’re going to have to do you’re going to change your mindset if you’re planning on being successful you have to change this here the difference between successful people and non-successful people is right here it aren’t no difference it aren’t none I aren’t got no more than none of yall got god gave me the same thing he gave yall god loved me the same as he loved all yall he don’t love me more than he love you but you have got to change your mindset you got to get funky.
Greetings folks, and today on LGR I am proud to present the fabled AdLib Gold 1000 Stereo Sound Adapter. An IBM PC-compatible sound card which, after multiple delays, launched at a suggested price of $299 in the US sometime in late 1992. More or less, its release is a bit complicated but we’ll get to that. For now lemme just go ahead and say how much I’m freak in’ out with excitement recording this footage. Cuz dude, seeing an AdLib Gold in person, still in the box, unused? Among retro PC enthusiasts, that’s like finding a golden unicorn that craps diamonds, it’s just not a thing. Yet here it is, looking’ spiffy!
