Hey guys.
So it's been about 5 months since the last unboxing, so it's certainly time to try to to another one. But, there's something I've need to say that's not entirely unboxing related, so a couple of weeks ago I did a video on Planet X3.
In fact, I had about 100 boxes that I had pre-made in anticipation of that, what I didn't anticipate was 478 sales within the course of 48 hours. So, if you're taking a glance at this picture here, this And that's 150 boxes there, so actually you've got to imagine 3 times this many to similarly the whole amount of sales I had. So it took me about 12 days to truly fold more boxes, and you recognize, pack all of these things up, it had been like kick start everywhere again.
And so, I apologize for the delay but, now that that's done, hopefully things are going to be getting back on target again. I even have some pretty neat videos arising then if you watch this unboxing you'll get a touch little bit of a sneak peak about what's arising pretty soon, so let's dig in!
The first package here is from Shamus Donnelly. And what we've here are some more Casio ROM carts. I feel I've got quite a few of those now. Anyway, many thanks Shamus!
Next up may be a package from Double Sided Games. I feel this is often some kind of C64 game that I agreed to review. So let ’s see. The customs form says OLD video game.
OK, Yep, I'm unsure exactly the way to pronounce this because it looks French. But I feel it's L'abbaye Des Mort's. I actually took two years of French in high school but I don't remember much. Yeah, so this is often some kind of platform game for the Commodore 64. I anticipate to trying it out. I'll just have a fast look inside.
OK, that ’s cool. It comes on a cartridge. And a really thin manual. Well, expect to ascertain something about this soon.
OK, I got two boxes from James Shackel. 200 in one games with calculator, as seen on TV. Here ’s a note. “Hi David!
Enjoy these really suspect offerings as I ’m unsure I ’m impressed by any of them. I feel this is often actually something we chatted a few while ago, and he just got around to sending them.
OK, so here ’s a Coleco direct to TV game, and here ’s an almost matching Intellivision direct to TV game system.
OK, well, many thanks James!
Here ’s a package from none aside from LGR. This isn’t the primary time he has donated something to me. In fact, he stopped by for a visit not too way back, but that was well after I got this package.
So, yeah, what this is often the first software and manual to the Cue Cat, which somebody else donated to me and was seen within the last unboxing. So, hopefully I'll be ready to cover that device soon. Up next may be A box from Jan Beta.
Another popular YouTube. He spells Germany very weird. Anyway, Here's a touch note. Ah yes, he's sending me a multimax cart. Here's some POKE statements on stickers. These are for changing the screen colors on a C64..
Anyway, this cartridge supposedly contains several games in one cartridge for the Commodore Max. I’ll need to fix my Max first since it's not performing at the instant. Anyway, many thanks Jan!
Moving along, we've a box here from Smith. And it's like he sent me a 7800 controller since I discussed during a previous video that I didn't actually own one. And he also sent me a few of 2600 games. I feel I've have nearly every title for the 2600 now. Next up may be a package from Mike McCann. I've struck gold here. So I even have a few of Okimate printers I've been eager to do videos on, but lacked any working ribbons for them. Well, now I even have plenty.
And since these are thermal ribbons and not ink, I'm thinking they're going to likely still work in any case of this point. And here's some thermal paper which allows you to print without a ribbon also. So, hopefully there'll be an okimate video within the future.
Next up we've an enormous box here, and no it ’s not from Lowe ’s. It ’s actually from Chris Henkel.
OK, I ’m getting to need to put this on the bottom.
OK, a box up a box.
The good news is, this may likely have survived. And that I already know what's in here. This is often a touch monochrome Commodore monitor to be used with the PC series computers. It's an honest bit smaller than the color monitors even just like the 1084.
Anyway, you've already seen this within the Commodore PC documentary video I released last month. Anyway, many thanks considerably Chris. Next we've a little package from Poland. Unsure who it's from. It's a Commodore and Amiga magazine. do know why this was sent to me, which I'll show you during a minute. It's like I got another trinkets here too. So, there are tons of game reviews in here. And surely, on the table of context, you'll see Planet X2 is listed for page 18. And there it's.
I am humbled that my game deserved such an outsized section. Well, many thanks for sending this! This may be an excellent keepsake!
OK, moving along we've a box from R. Maurer. I ’m unsure the way to say that.
OK, this seems like a laptop pc or something. This is often quite mysterious item indeed. I remember the e-mail about this now!
This may appear as if a compact word processing system or something. But it's not. What it's, is really a transportable color plotter. So, yeah this uses little colored pens and may draw stuff. Here's the operators manual.
I buy a really familiar feeling to the present book, it's almost love it was written and illustrated by an equivalent folks that did the manual for the Commodore VIC-20. It's such as you could connect this to a private computer also, and use it as a plotter. This is often very cool. I anticipate to reviewing this in additional detail! This next box is from Daria Morgendorffer.
OK, so we've a cardboard box and an excellent Nintendo controller. Inside this is often an influence supply and cables. I buy the distinct impression there could also be an excellent Nintendo inside. And it is. And it's quite yellowed too. II I didn't actually own one among these so far. I've had to borrow them for previous episodes. Well, I assume I'll got to retro rite this one.
Up next, we've a box here from Norman Strayer. I Do know what this is often. This is often a reasonably hard to seek out item. So, this is often a politician genlock device for the Amiga 1000. But this is often what allowed people to try to to to to video production with the Amiga. And Wow, this is often really cool, many thanks considerably Norman!
Here's little package from Jason Neumann. And it appears to be a T-shirt. Home-brew computer club. Hey, I'll be ready to join that club in time since I'm brewing a computer. And here's the rear side.
And next up may be a donation from Circuit Specialists. This is often actually a sponsored donation. I usually tell people I don’t do sponsored advertisements in my show.
However, if the merchandise has relevancy and something I can actually use during a video, I will be able to allow people to send me things. Then that's what we've happening here. So, let's see if they sent me the thing we talked If it is, it's a reasonably expensive piece of hardware that I'll definitely be ready to use for a few of my repair projects.
That's a pleasant little carry bag there. That's it. It kind of seems like a volt meter, but what It actually is, may be a handheld oscilloscope. I feel it also does some voltmeter like functions too. Let's see if we will power it on. It appears the battery is dead. So, I assume I'll need to plug it in. Very nice. I'm sure it'll take me a while to work out the way to use this. Here's a touch note they sent.
Good luck on your upcoming computer and Planet X3. And, it appears they're offering a promo code for viewers of my channel. So just type in 8-Bit-Guy for an 8% discount. Well, an enormous many thanks to Circuit Specialists, this may actually are available handy.
OK, next we've a box from…. Actually, I even have no idea who this is often from. Well, it's like there's a note. Maybe we ’ll determine who it's from.
OK, it's from James Shackel. And what we've here is yet one more one among those direct to TV things. I will be able to be doing a neighborhood two on those eventually, so you'll probably see this again eventually. But We'll see. But, watching the customs label it contains a Wi-Fi Dongle. That doesn't sound very interesting. But we'll see.
OK, we've a wad of paper and what appears to be a 9 to 25 pin interface converter.
Oh, I assume the most attraction is within the wad of paper. So, what this is often one among those devices that plugs into a interface of a vintage computer and pretends to be a modem, but actually connects to Wi-Fi so you'll call internet enabled BBS and such. It's a pleasant little 3D printed case.
Anyway, I will be able to probably find a use for this. Next up may be a small package from Denis Karimani. Almost sure what this is often just yet. There's definitely a diskette here. Remute redeyes. I feel I do know what this If it's what I feel it's, this other item may be a genesis cartridge. So, this is often actually a musical album that was released on diskette and on the Genesis. I'll probably throw this in to subsequent video where I do some vintage game reviews, so expect to ascertain this demonstrated soon. Very cool!
Next up may be a small box from Craig Hodges. He actually came by for a visit a couple of months ago. And now he's sending me a package. I even have a suspicion this might be associated with our conversation about Atari stuff. A Pitfall II, lost caverns cartridge. I actually had one already but mine was defective. So hopefully this one works!
OK, so we've a package here from….Oh it ’s on the rear.
And the last package of the day, we've an enormous box from Mike Ditto. And that I guess this suggests no numbers larger than 255, which suggests 8-bit numbers. And let's see what's in here. This appears to be another Casio Keyboard. That's two during a row. I did actually comply with take this donation, but I even have to admit, this is often MUCH larger than I used to be expecting. I assume that's what happens once you Google a photograph but there's nothing within the photo to offer you a frame of reference for size.
Anyway, this is often quite interesting keyboard too. For various reasons. I really like those huge knobs. I'm also surprised to ascertain the Casio ROM cartridge on a keyboard of this size. Usually, I've only seen them in additional toy -like keyboards. Anyway, I anticipate to doing a review on this guy too. So, many thanks Mike!
And so that's it for this unboxing. So, I got some pretty neat stuff, which I feel will become some pretty neat videos over subsequent few months, so stay tuned for those, and that ’s all I ’ve got for the instant.
So, thanks for watching!
