We live in a world where we often think it’s cool to be someone else but yourself. We live in a world where sometimes were embarrassed to embrace who we really are. often dictates what we do as individuals. I mean, what would happen if
we really chose to embrace who we are? I mean, what would happen if we chose to embrace the fact that we were born the way we were born? What would happen if we chose to embrace our God-given gifts and talents? You see, there’s an epidemic of insecurity in our society today. Many of us feel insecure and we felt bad about ourselves.
Which ends up stealing our joy and causing major problems in a variety of our relationships with others. I personally know the effect insecurity can have on you because I’ve experienced it myself. Those who have been hurt badly often seek the approval and validation from others, just to try and overcome their feelings. But hold on. Let’s pick up the pace. Because proverbs 18:21 puts it like this: the tongue has the power of life and death. So I need you to join me.
